Västerås Vägmarkering AB was founded in 2000 by Lars, who is the owner, CEO and extruder driver of the company. We are a medium-sized company, larger than the smaller ones but much smaller than the larger ones, we are happy with the size and have no plans to grow, but instead we invest in the machinery, the environment and doing what we can do better.
We paint for municipalities, landscapers, private clients and often and gladly collaborate with other line painting companies, we believe in collaboration and that there is enough work for all of us.
We were the first in Sweden to buy a Mild hybrid, i.e. a car whose body is powered solely by electricity, which means that you can turn off the engine when you work and that the car does not idle, so it was an easy choice to choose such a car again.
We believe in this concept and think we, together with Trysil, have designed a really solid quality car that has all that little extra and much more.
The company has bought from the same supplier historically and wanted to try something new. The choice fell on TRYSIL RMM, which they considered to be an attractive supplier.
Cecilia and Lars Jaros contacted our sales representatives during the PÅ VÄG fair in Jönköping, Sweden, in the spring of 2025.
We worked together to develop the desired product they wanted based on their needs and thoughts.
The choice fell on a Handtool construction with electric drive and solar cells built on a VOLVO FE. The car is also equipped with our solutions for a good working environment and ergonomics.
